I have my English Oral today. I was so so nervous. Miss Loh told us about the little change in the exam. There is an additional question asked for conversation. That means the invigilators will be asking two questions. One is suppose to be not related to the picture description. So everyone was very nervous. The examiners asked: describe sth that happened at the road near your house and argument with parents.

I managed to think something out for the first question. The second is rubbish. I have never argue with my parents. There are disagreement but argument, no. Even the disagreement is so trifle that it is not worth mentioning. Haiz. I was too nervous to be able to cook up a story. Hope I still can get good grades for my oral. So now, one down and more to go.

Got back my Mid-yr MT O'level result yesterday. I got a B3. Better than I had expected but is very bad nevertheless. Now comes the question. Should I retake??? Retake means having to spend time on another subject that I do not know whether I will do well in. If I don't resit, I will denial myself the chance to improve on it. But if I retake and get a grade even worst then it will be a waste of time. Haiz. The woes of an O'level student.

Yesterday was the hand over of the Prime Minister Office. I watched the telecast even though I was rushing my homework. PM Lee looks very nervous and a bit unsure. You kind of think that the politicians are very confident, they will not be nervous hence it is good to see that the PM is actually nervous about something. At least it makes him suddenly look more humane more like the other citizens. The speech given by the PM was good. He spoke in three languages, and made a (what word should I use?)stirring speech calling for all to join him in making Singapore a better country. I always wonder how Minister Mentor felt when he saw his son gave the speech on stage and when he received the (the red tube) from his son.
